Doug McAuley Director
Doug played football at Mt. Lebanon High School under Coach Art Walker, Sr. He also played football at Ohio University and Duquesne University, where he was a place kicker and punter. He was named twice as a Football News Small College All America and to the Pittsburgh Press All District Team. Doug coached at Duquesne University and spent 9 years at Pittsburgh Central Catholic as their Kickers/Punters coach.
Andy Macurak Athletic Trainer
Andy has worked as a trainer for 6 years at Laurel Highlands High School in Uniontown, Canevin Catholic High School and is currently in his 6th year as a trainer at Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School. He has also served as a seasonal intern with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dave Brytus Assistant Instructor
Starting punter - University of Pittsburgh. Named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List (Nations outstanding punter). Averaged 40.1 yards per punt (53 for 2,120 yards). Had 15 punts come to rest inside the 20 -yard line (28 percent). Season long punt of 63 yards against Michigan. Completed 9-yard pass on fourth and two fake punt at Iowa. Named the Sun Bowl Most Valuable Special Teams Player after averaging 48.9 yards on 8 punts, including 4 that came to rest inside the 20 yard line vs. Arizona State. Named to the ESPN All American Bowl Team. Named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List (Nations outstanding punter). Selected as a Semi-Finalist for the Ray Guy Award. 1 of 10 punters in the nation and the only punter from the Big 10 Conference. Selected as the Special Teams Player of the week against Michigan State on November 5th by the Big 10 Conference after dropping 3 of 4 punts inside the opponent's 10 yard line. Had a net average of 37.5 yards (Big 10) which was 22nd in the nation. Placed 22 punts inside the opponents 20 yard line (35 percent). Only had 2 touchbacks all year. Had 17 fair catches (28 percent). 68 Percent of punts were not returned. No punts were blocked. 2007-present, Starting punter - University of Pittsburgh.
Adam Sciulli Assistant Instructor
Shored up St. Francis University Red Flash special teams units last fall, providing reliable performer on kickoffs, field goal and point-after attempts. Converted on seven-of-12 field goal attempts and 24-of-24 point-after-tries. Led Saint Francis and ranked fifth in Northeast Conference in scoring with 45 points. Set single-season school records for field goals made (seven) and attempted (12) and extra points made (24). Voted NEC Special Teams Player-of-the-Week after converting on two-of-two field goal attempts, including season-long 31-yarder, in victory over Sacred Heart. Made five-of-six field goal attempts inside of 30 yards. Saint Francis Academic Honor Roll student. Majoring in Business administration. Career stats - PAT's -81/83 (2blk), FG's 20-28.
Conor Lee Assistant Instructor
Conor Lee played football and soccer at Upper St.Clair High school. He was an all-state selection in both sports as a senior. Three time All-Quad West in football. Three times All-WPIAL and all-section in soccer. A member of the National Honor Society. High Honor Roll. Spent the fall of 2003 at Fork Union Military Academy finishing 9 of 11 in field goals. Conor is now a redshirt junior at Pitt and is competing for the starting placekicking job. 2006-present, Starting placekicker - University of Pittsburgh. 2006 PAT's - 47/47, FG's-12/14 with a long of 47.
Kevin Kelly Assistant Instructor
As a freshman Kevin hit on 16 of 23 FG's and 49 of 50 PAT's. His career long is 47yds. In the 2006 FedEx Orange Bowl Kevin connected on a 29-yard field goal in the third overtime to lift the Nittany Lions to a thrilling 26-23 victory over Florida State. Kevin had an outstanding career at Neshaminy HS, (Langhorne, PA) where he was a four-year starter in football. He was an Associated Press first-team all-state pick and a four-time all-league selection.
William O. Hahn, Ph.D. Assistant Instructor
Dr. William Hahn is a licensed and certified Psychologist, who directs a group private practice in Lower Burrell, PA. He also holds active medical staff privileges at the Forbes Campus-Western Pennsylvania Hospital. At the hospital, he has served as section chief, and on the Credentials committee. He is Board Certified in Psychopharmacology, Neuropsychology, Traumatic Stress, and Psychotherapy. In addition to his graduate degrees in Education and Psychology, he also has a degree in Sports Medicine. He has served as an Adjunct Graduate Professor at both Duquesne and Chatham Universities. Dr. Hahn has also been involved in sports as a coach for over 35 years. He is currently an assistant football coach at Pittsburgh Central Catholic, and track at Oakland Catholic. Dr. Hahn will spend time explaining muscle and motor memory, offer ways to reduce anxiety, and help establish, from a mental aspect, a pre-kick routine.
